I've been having this re-occurring dream lately that the first band to be inducted into the Rock n' Roll hall of fame for the category of "emo" [in quotes with good reason] will be someone like Hawthorne Heights or Taking Back Sunday, and everyone will forget where it all started. It doesn't stop there. At that point Ian Mackaye and Blake Schwarzenbach will rise from the long dead, as gigantic zombies. Their rage will destroy entire cities, cause massive tsunamis and trigger mudslides that will cover all of California. At that point, the rest of America will cheer, but still live with their mistake, the mistake of forgetting bands like Embrace, Minor Threat, Jawbreaker, and to a certain extent Fugazi. Then, and only then, the people of America will do an about face on the commercial world and realize that they're listening to farse, something created by false information, and burn their tight shirts, new TBS CD's, and rip out their lip rings in unison.

So it's been freakin' hot. Real freakin' hot. 2005 was the hottest year on record, and people still think global warming is a crock of shit. I really want to know how anyone thinks emissions from cars, factories, and huge trucks has little to no impact on our earth. It's been almost a century since our first cars hit the roads and there's already a hole in the ozone layer big enough melt perma-frost, frost that for all we know, has been frozen since the coming of man. Now China is starting their industrial revolution, and have increased their output of noxious gases by 67%. Mmm...perma-frost, kinda makes me feel like some AC. Yeeeeeah.

This is the direct result of me spending way too much money on food. I must say that between food, cigarettes, and gas, I can blow two hundred bucks in a week. One fucking week. That's fuckin' drug prices man. The worst bit is, the cheaper the food you buy, the crappier it is for you. I bet the thousands of hobo's out there with diabetes are screamin' the same thing.

It's dead summer and the strangle of shoobies is in full effect, and with that comes full on shoobie hating. Shoobie hating is my guilty pleasure, they're the only people I have outright blind hatred for. You really have gotta love to hate em'. They're bringing in lots of revenue for our area, keeping it above the ever approaching crap poverty level and also tend provide us with some extra jobs and headaches. I don't know if it's crack rocks we hide in the sand, but the beach keeps bringin' em' back. Thank you for your money, poor driving habits, and douche bag attitudes, now please, leave.

You ever feel like you drive everywhere, but you go nowhere? It's amazing the little errands people have to run in their cars now. I'm guilty of it, I do it all the time, and I can't stand knowing I do it. You could easily walk from one friend's house to another, to wawa, to wherever really. There's just one problem, it's too time consuming for the lives people lead now. It never seems like there's enough time, but really, you've got all the time in the world. Just wake up a little earlier, leave a little earlier, skip a seemingly important, but very unimportant part of your day i.e. don't waste those extra ten minutes crankin' one out in front of your computer. Personally, I'd prefer if things slowed down a little bit, there's no rush man, there's enough life for everybody, let's keep it that way.
